Thanks to the generosity of many of our supporters, we have been able to purchase a bistouri-electrique-erbe-icc-300 for our MMS teams. This wondrous electronic device enables cutting, coagulation, and cauterisation for medical operations “on site” in isolated communities, and is already in use on our Medical Safaris in Madagascar.
As the Appeal raised almost £2,000, which was more than the target amount required for this device, we are also able to replace much of our more basic old equipment, particularly forceps, pliers, and scissors. These are in constant use in interventions like cesarean, hernia, laparotomy surgeries
Maholy (pictured in purple ), who manages the MMS programme, says:
Thank you very much. I promise you that I will do my best for mms because mms is the base of Hoveraid in Madagascar . Thanks again
Your support for our work is as ever, very much appreciated
Thank You
